After a bad experience with a different chimney company I called Southern Chimneys for a second opinion. Ashley took my phone call and was extremely helpful, nice, and patient. After an initial inspection it was determined that our chimney needed to be taken down completely. Mitchell and Justin did the work and they had their roofer Joel over the same day. I’m extremely pleased with the work they did and would definitely recommend them! Chimney removal is not an easy job but I felt that they were careful and thorough. Having the roofer out the same day was also huge, so we weren’t living with a tarp over a hole for an extended period of time. Overall very happy with our chimney-less fireplace!

When calling the office, Carrie and Ashlee are extremely helpful and always ready to answer questions. Ben, Justin, and Mitchell arrived on time and were respectful of the property, and took the time to thoroughly explain the process and answer ALL questions. I had many because we have so many different fireplace sets/ chimneys.

I would 100% recommend this company. They sent out Justin and Mitchell who did a thorough assessment, answered all my questions, and sealed up an old coal fireplace for me. They were quick, professional, and friendly.
Justin and Mitchell were amazing! They were friendly, knowledgeable and committed to resolving my issue. I never felt pressured to do ANYTHING. However, I sensed their commitment to doing a good job, resolving my issue and making me aware of options to consider. Lastly and most importantly, they fixed our gas fireplaces that haven’t worked in over a year!!! I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!
Ben from Southern Chimneys fixed our fireplace. Not only did he fix it, but he made recommendations on how to maintain it and even allowed me to make a video so that I could remember all the steps. The he had me go through the steps to make sure that I understood what to do. What service!!!!
I recommend this company very strongly. Easy to schedule appointments by phone. Very knowledgeable team inspecting firebox/chimney. They also did a great job removing and installing a new firebox and chimney pipe. No mess left behind. Fair pricing. Highly recommend this company!
We needed some repair work done on our fireplaces and were referred to Southern Chimneys by a friend. They were very accommodating and quoted us a lower price for the work than we had been quoted by another company. The repairs were completed quickly and the work was high quality. They explained everything in detail along the way. I would highly recommend Southern Chimneys.
Excellent service! Delivered on time. The past owners of the house have been chasing a leak from the stone fireplace for 20+ years. I was determined to solve the issue and Southern Chimney did! It has rained a lot since they installed the new chimney pan, cap and waterproof the exterior stone and not a drop of water inside. Thank you so much!!! Here is a picture of the culprit.
This is an A++ company. Everything from the original phonecall to get quotes and scheduling and the actual visit was an excellent experience.
I am a new homeowner and my knowledge of fire places is pretty limited. But starting with the phonecall about my issues, they were very kind, helpful, and informative. They were able to provide several different quotes which all seemed very reasonable. Scheduling was a breeze as they were able to fit me in within days of my call and they gave me a simple window of time of 8-12 to allow me to plan for this.
Day of the appt, Ben & Justin were the ones who arrived. They called me to give me a 20-min heads up of their arrival. They answered all my questions in a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly manner. I really appreciated the transparency of everything. The fix I needed was pretty quick but they also talked me through other renovation questions.
I will definitely use this company again for future projects and I will request Ben & Justin as well.

OMG i just experience the best service i can ever imagine. I contacted the company because I am having condensation issues in my fireplace. The technicians were so honest to let me know that my issues are not chimneys related. They advised me to call an ac company to address the issue. Most companies will have me go to their expensive cleaning and inspection before telling you that they can’t do anything for you. Southern chimneys is a very trusted and reliable company. Thank you do much for your honesty. I am a customer for life
